How to Enable Macro Logs

How to Enable Macro Logs

This article will show you how to Enable Macro logs in your Hive. Before we begin, macro logs are a tool you and your users/members can use to track the amount of macros they consume each day.

  1. To start, go to Settings >> General Settings

  1. From here, scroll down to the Nutrition/Meal Plans Settings section and check Yes for Enable Macro Log

  1. Next, set the Macros and Calories Thresholds. These are essentially a buffer for how close your members should come to hitting these goals. For example, if a goal is 100 and you set a 5% threshold they will be okay if they hit 96 through 104, but would be flagged if they came in over/under those numbers. You can leave these blank, which will set the thresholds to 10%.

  1. Once you have set your thresholds, click Save at the bottom of the page to complete the process.

  1. End users can now submit/view their macro logs by going to the Nutrition section of their online account, then selectMacro Logs.

We also have a MyFitnessPal integration that, if enabled in your Hive, will allow your members to automatically import their macros from their food diary there to the Macro Logs in their account through your Hive.

We hope this helps, but please feel free to reach out to success@myfithive.com with any additional questions you may have.
