How to Submit Feature Requests

How to Submit Feature Requests

This article will show you
how to submit feature requests through your Hive. Please note that while we try to be as accommodating as possible, submitting a request is not a guarantee that the feature requested will be produced. This particular tool helps us learn what features are being sought after, as well as provides you with the ability to see and interact with what other gyms owners have requested.

Each Hive is allowed to submit a total of 5 new requests every 30 days days, so it is recommended that you search for a feature request prior to submitting your own to make sure that you’re not using one of your allotted submissions on one that already exists.

    1. To begin, click on New Features from the top menu of your Hive’s dashboard, which will open up the New Features box.

  1. From there, select Request a Feature

  1. You will then be provided with a snapshot of the requests that are currently scheduled for or in production.

**Please note that this does not reflect every feature/request that has been submitted, or that we plan to build. We receive hundreds of requests, so to keep this as organized and navigable as possible we’ll only be publishing the features that are scheduled for or in production, as well as requests with the highest demand.**

  1. To add a new request, click on the “+” button to upper left of the page>> then provide the details of your request on the ticket.

Once you have provided the details of your request, click
Submit to complete the process, after which your request will be sent to the FitHive team for review.

**The Place your vote on this new request box is for the voting system that’s in place that allows Hive owners to vote for requests, both their own and others, which we’ll cover in more detail below.**

  1. After you have submitted your request, you’ll be taken back to the Feature Request page. From here, you’ll have the option to vote for and comment on requests. To vote for a request, simply click on the thumbs up icon on the ticket. Please note that once a request is in production (being built) that you will no longer be able to vote for it. Additionally, each Hive is able to vote on 3 feature requests in total. You can remove and add votes if the priority for you changes. You'll also get a vote back if or when the request is completed or goes into production.

To leave a comment on a request, click on it >> select
Add Comment >> add the feedback you’d like to provide in the blank field>> then click Submit Comment

  1. There are additional filters at the top of the Feature Request page that will allow you to search by Newest RequestHighest VotedRequests you voted forRequests you submittedIn Progress( production), and Completed

We hope this helps, but please feel free to reach out tosuccess@myfithive.comwith any additional questions you may have. We look forward to learning more about your ideas to help us improve our service!
