Instructor Welcome Automation



This article will show you how to enable the Instructor Welcome automation, which is an automated email that will be sent to users you set as instructors in your Hive to provide them with the steps on how to access their Instructor Account and Instructor App. 


  1. To begin, go to Communicate >> Automate Emails/Texts >> then select the Instructor Welcome automation under the Instructor section. 



  1. Next, select Enable, then make sure save the change and you’re all set.

 

  1. Please note that this email will not automatically be sent to users that were set as instructors prior to enabling this automation. However, you can still have your Hive send this to them by re-setting them up as instructors, which you can do by going to their profile in your Hive >> select Edit User >> check No for Is Instructor (towards the bottom of their profile), then save the change. You’ll then repeat the same steps, but check Yes for Is Instructor and your Hive will then send the Instructor Welcome automation.

 

  1. Lastly, you can also add a button to the top of the Instructor Account view that will provide your instructors with the steps to add your instructor app. You can enable this setting by going to Settings >> Mobile App >> then select Yes for Instructor App Install Link Display. 



  1. Make sure to save the change, then your instructors will be able to view this from their Instructor Account.
