Membership Settings - Rollover Passes

Membership Settings - Rollover Passes

This article will show you how to allow unused membership passes to roll over into the next billing period. Before we begin, please note that this setting will only be available for pass-based memberships that are set to auto-renew. Once a membership has ended/expired any remaining passes will be deleted. However, if a membership is placed on hold any existing passes will be available once the membership is reactivated.

  1. To begin, go to Membership >> Add/Edit Types>> then select the applicable membership type you’d like to enable rollover passes for.

  1. From the membership settings page, scroll down to the Period/Rate Settings section and select Yes for Rollover Passes. Make sure to save the change to complete the process.

  1. Once this has been enabled, users who sign up for this membership will have any unused passes from their previous billing cycle automatically rolled over to the next. These will be in addition to the new set of passes that are added once the membership renews.

Please note that any changes made to the default settings of an existing membership will not automatically be applied to users who signed up for it prior, so this will need to be enabled per user for those you wish to add this to.

Additionally, members who cancel a class within their current billing period will have the pass automatically added back to their membership. However, only admins have the ability to cancel a class registration from a previous billing period and credit the pass used to their membership.

We hope this helps, but please feel free to reach out to success@myfithive.com with any additional questions you may have.
