Require Signed Membership for Class Signup/Checkin

Require Signed Membership for Class Signup/Checkin

This article will show you how to make signed membership contracts required for class registrations and/or check-ins when applicable. Please note that users who have a non-contracted membership type will not be affected if this setting is enabled.

  1. To begin, go to Settings>>General Settings

  1. Next, scroll down to the Class Schedule Settings section and locate the Prevent Registration w/Unsigned Membership Contracts and Prevent Checkin w/ Unsigned Membership Contracts

If enabled, the Prevent Registration w/ Unsigned Membership Contracts setting will prevent users with unsigned membership contracts from signing up for a class. Check Yes to enable this setting.

Prevent Checkin w/ Unsigned Membership Contract will prevent users with unsigned membership contracts from checking into a class they have been registered for if this setting is enabled. Check Yes to enable this setting.

  1. After you have updated your settings, click Save to complete the process.

  1. Once enabled, an alert will be displayed notifying the user that their class registration and/or check-in was denied due to them having an unsigned membership contract when they attempt to perform either action, which we've provided an example of below.

As a reminder, users can sign any pending membership contract by logging into their account>> scroll down to the Current Memberships section>> then select View Contract

We hope this helps, but please feel free to reach out to success@myfithive.com with any additional questions you may have.
