This article will walk you through the steps to enable the Class/Attendance History setting in your Hive, as well as how to teach your users/members how they can navigate their Class/Attendance history from their online profile. Please note that these reports are separate from the existing attendance reports available through your admin dashboard and, if enabled, that your users will be able to view these reports from their profile.
From your admin dashboard, go to Settings >> General Settings >> then scroll down to the Account Navigation section.
From there, locate for the Class History Records, Class History Record Export, General Attendance Records, and General Attendance Record Export settings, which you can enable by checking “Yes” next to them. Below is a breakdown of what each of these settings controls.
Class History Records: if enabled, will display the user’s full class history in their online profile.
Class History Record Export: if enabled, will allow users to export their class history from their online profile.
General Attendance Records: if enabled, will display the user’s full general attendance history in their online profile.
General Attendance Record Export: if enabled, will allow users to export their general attendance records from their online profile.
Once you’ve made your selections, make sure to save your changes to complete the process.
To begin, navigate to the frontend view of your Hive, which you can do by clicking on the silhouette icon to the upper right corner of your dashboard>> then click on Frontend. This will take you to the profile view that your users will see when they log into their account.
From here, click on Records from the account menu>> then you’ll see the options for Class History and Attendance. As a reminder, please note that the Class History Records and General Attendance Records settings from above must be enabled for them to appear in the user’s online profile.
Users can then click on either option to view their respective records. By default, the report will show the history for the current calendar year, but users can use the filter to search by previous years as well.
If you enabled the Class History Record Export and General Attendance Record Export settings that were outlined above, users will also have the option to export these from their online profile, which they’ll do by clicking on the Export button.
We hope this helps, but as always please feel free to reach out to success@myfithive.com with any additional questions you may have.
