How to Create Recurring Classes

This article will show you
How to Set Up Recurring Classes in your Schedule

  1. To begin, go to Schedule >> Schedule Classes. As previously mentioned, you’ll then be provided with a snapshot of your class schedule.

  1. To set up a recurring class, select the class time on the last day it’s available from your schedule. For example, if you have an 8am Strength class that is available from 4/11-4/15, you’d select the 8am class on 4/15. If you were to select the 8am Strength class on 4/11 to be recurring, you would create duplicates on 4/12-4/15 since the class already exists on those days, so it’s important to remember to always select the last available class time.

  1. Once you have selected the class, a pop-up will provide you with a view of its settings. From here, you’ll select Create Recurring to proceed.

  1. Towards the bottom of the next page is where you’ll set the schedule for the class to recur on, beginning with the days of the week. For example, if you want this to be available Mon-Fri, you would select Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri.

  1. The next setting gives you the option toset how often you want the recurring class to be created. If you want this to be added weekly, you would leave this setting to 1 week. If you want to make this class time available every other week, you would set this to 2 week(s).

  1. The last setting for the recurring class time is to set how far out you’d like to schedule it, which can be up to 1 full year. Please note that the system does not factor in holidays, so if a class time happens to fall on a holiday that you’re closed on you’ll need to manually delete it once it’s been added to your schedule.

  1. Once you have selected the days and how often to create the recurring schedule, select Calculate dates. This will then provide you with a master list of all class times/days this class will be added to your schedule. If anything looks off or incorrect, you can select Change Parameter (recalculate dates)to make changes as needed. If everything looks good you’ll check theI confirm the above dates/warning box, then selectCreate Selected Times. You’ll then see the classes added to your schedule.

  1. You can then repeat these steps for any other class time you’d like to be recurring.

The next option to add classes to your schedule is by copying an existing date range, which you can learn more about
