MyFitnessPal Connection - Members

MyFitnessPal Connection - Members

This article is a guided walkthrough on the steps your members will need to take to connect their MyFitnessPal account to their account in your Hive. Please note that this must be done through their online account as this currently isn’t available through the mobile app. Additionally, you must have enabled the MyFitnessPal Integration and Macro Log settings for this to be available.

  1. After signing into their account from your gym's website, they will go to Nutrition>> Macro Log

  1. From here, they’ll click on MyFitnessPal Settings

  1. Next, they’ll click Yes for Enable myfitnesspal.com food diary >> then click Check Your Settings on MFP, which will redirect them to log into the MFP account and will take them directly to the MFP Diary Settings page.

  1. From their MFP Diary Settings, they’ll see a Nutrients Tracked setting. They MUST select ProteinsCarbohydratesFats, and Fiber in this section in order for the macro imports to work correctly.

  1. Last, they’ll go back to their online account through your Hive and enter in their MFP user name exactly as it appears, then click Save to complete the process.

Please note that the diary/macro import from their MFP account to the macro logs section of their online account with you runs once a night, so if there were to add an entry in MFP today it wouldn't show up in their online account until tomorrow.

We hope this helps, but please feel free to reach out to success@myfithive.com with any additional questions you may have.
