People (CRM): View Everyone: Forms Filter

This article will show you how to use the Forms Filter in People (CRM) >> View Everyone. This is a convenient way to search for users who filled out Custom Forms or Basic Contact Forms in the event that the form they filled out didn’t have a tag connected to it.

  1. To begin, go to People CRM) >> View Everyone >> then click Filters

  1. Next, click on the Forms section of the filters.

  1. From there, you’ll be provided to filter by “Has Related Custom Form” or “Contact Form Submission Page”, as well as date ranges you can execute the search within.

  1. Has Related Custom Form: this option gives you the ability to search for users who have filled out a specific Custom Form. Please note that if you have the same custom form on multiple web pages that the search results will combine all users who have filled it out from each web page.

  2. Related Custom Form Submission Date Range: this allows you to filter the search of a Custom Form within a specific date range. Please note that if a Custom Form is not selected from the Has Related Custom Form dropdown that the search results will display all users from all custom forms within the selected time frame.

  1. Contact Form Submission Page: this option gives you the ability to search for users who have filled out a basic contact form on a specific web page. For example, if you have a contact form on your homepage you can select the Homepage from the dropdown, run the search, then you’ll be able to see everyone who has filled it out.

  2. Contact Form Submission Date Range: this allows you to filter users who have filled out a basic contact form a Contact Form Submission Page within a specific date range. Please note that if a Contact Form Submission Page is not selected from the dropdown that the search results will display all users with contact form submissions from all web pages with contact forms within the selected time frame.

  1. You can also also use both options to drill down a search to find users who have submitted a custom form on a specific web page. For example, if you have 3 separate web pages that have the same custom form, but you want to search for users who filled it out on web page X, you would select the desired custom form from the Has Related Custom Form dropdown, then select the applicable page from the Contact Form Submission Page dropdown.

  1. Once you have made your filter selections, click Run Filter to perform the search. The search results will then display all users who fit the criteria.

Now that we’ve covered how to use the Forms filter, you can use the Bulk Tag option to add/remove tags from users who meet the criteria or your search as needed.
