This article will show you how to add appointment availability to your schedule. Please note that there are additional ways to add appointments to your schedule, such as Copy Date Range and Create Recurring. Additionally, default appointment types must be set up prior to adding them to your schedule, which you can learn more about HERE.
To begin, go to Schedule >> Manage Appointments. You will then be provided with a calendar view for your appointments.
To add an appointment, drag and drop on the time/day you’d like to add it to. For example, if you want to add a 9am-9:30am appointment to Wed, click on 9am on that day and drag it to 9:30am.
A pop-up will then appear that gives you the option to select the Appointment Type you want to add to your schedule from the dropdown.
Once you have selected the appointment type its default settings will appear.
As an admin you have the option to change the default settings as needed by clicking on Customize, which will open up the settings for that specific appointment time.
Going back to step 4, you’ll also notice an option to Fill Selected Block With Multiple Times. This gives you the ability to drag and drop on an extended block of time and have your Hive automatically break it up to individual appointments, as well as add a time buffer between them. For example, if you block out 9am-12pm and want that broken up into 30 min appointments with a 10 min buffer between them, you would set the the duration to 30 min, buffer to 10 min, then click Calculate to view how many appointment slots will be added to the time block you selected.
When you’re ready to add the appointment time(s) to your schedule click the Create Times Default button to complete the process.
