How to Set Up Addons

How to Set Up Addons

This article will show you how to set up Addons in your Hive. Before we begin, Addons are POS items and/or memberships that you’d like to make available for users to purchase through their account dashboard or member app. Additionally, please note that any POS item or membership must be created prior to adding them to Addons.

  1. To begin, go to Settings >>Addons

  1. Next, you’ll need to make sure to enable the Show Addons Account Link to make this available in your members’ online account. The Mobile App Link will redirect you to the settings page for your member app, which we’ll circle back to further into this article.

  1. To add a membership to your Addons, simply click Add Membership>> then select the desired membership. You can repeat this for as many memberships that you’d like to make available for purchase.

**Please note that you cannot make any changes to the
default membership settings from this page, so you'll want to make sure these are set up to your liking prior to adding them here.

  1. To add a POS item, simply click Add POS Item >> then select the POS items you’d like to add. You can also repeat this for as many POS items that you’d like to make available.

Please note that you cannot make any changes to the
POS items from this page, so you'll want to make sure these are set up to your liking prior to adding them here.

  1. Once you have finished selecting the memberships/POS items to your Addons, click Save to complete the process.

As mentioned above, your users can purchase these items/memberships through the account dashboard in their online account, or through the Addons section of your member app (if enabled). We recommend familiarizing yourself with how each of these can be accessed by your members, which we’ve outlined below.

  1. Addons - Account Dashboard: once a member has logged into their online account, they’ll simply click on the Addons option in the dashboard menu, then they’ll be able to view/select the available items for purchase.

  1. Addons - Member App: since the member apps are customizable yours will be configured uniquely to your business, so the example below won't look exactly yours. However, an Addons option is available in the upper right menu of your app by default.

If you’d like to add the Addons option anywhere else in your app, such as the dashboard or bottom menu, you can learn how by checking out the Member App support article.

We hope this helps, but please feel free to reach out to success@myfithive.com with any additional questions you may have.
